Jewelry care

Product care

So that you can enjoy your new Ocean & Sand jewelry for a long time, it is important that you care for it regularly. Your jewelry should always be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off. Avoid contact with cosmetics, body lotions or perfume. Remove your jewelry when going to sleep, exercising, cleaning, showering, bathing, or swimming in chlorine or salt water.

Storage

In addition to care, you should also pay attention to storing your jewelry correctly. It's best to store these in a dark and dry place. The ideal place would be in a jewelry box or pouch.

Cleaning

You can think of the different jewelry materials like skin types: Each material needs special care that suits its needs.

Stainless steel: Since stainless steel neither rusts nor has a tendency to tarnish, it is very easy to care for . It is enough to polish the stainless steel jewelry with a soft cloth to restore its shine. If your stainless steel jewelry gets dirty, you can simply clean it with lukewarm water, a little soap or detergent and a soft toothbrush.

Gold plating and silver plating: Cleaning must not be too aggressive here, as the gold plating and silver plating can detach from the stainless steel over time. Lukewarm water, a mild soap and a soft cloth are sufficient for care. Make sure to dry your jewelry gently after cleaning.

Semi-precious stones: You should be particularly careful when cleaning here. Semi-precious stones are very susceptible to scratches and cracks. Careful cleaning with lukewarm water, a mild soap and a soft toothbrush is sufficient. Here too, dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

Note on contact allergies

Not everyone tolerates all materials, so we cannot rule out a possible allergic reaction to the products.
